Microneedling Skin Rejuvenation
Many people desire to maintain a youthful and radiant look at any age. Recently there has been a significant increase in the number of people willing to undergo surgery to achieve their aesthetic goals.
Facial rejuvenation procedures like Botox, fillers and even facelifts have become more common. But what if there was a way less invasive way to achieve a healthy, youthful look? Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that can do just that.
At Revitalize Aesthetics and Wellness, we know that your skin deserves the best possible care. Our team of experts is proud to offer microneedling to help you achieve and maintain a youthful appearance. If you are looking for non-surgical facial rejuvenation or microneedling in Columbus, Georgia or Warner Robins, Georgia we are here for you.
What Is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a facial rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of fine needles to stimulate collagen production, also called Percutaneous Collagen Induction (PCI). It is used to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, scars (including acne scars), stretch marks, and pigmentation. Microneedling is customized according to the needs of the patient. There are a variety of serums and plant stem cell extracts that can be added to the procedure to address specific skin concerns.
Microneedling With PRP
PRP microneedling, also known as a Vampire Facial, is a minimally invasive cosmetic treatment that can be used to improve the appearance of the skin. The process involves using a device called the PiXel8-RF system to create microscopic punctures in the top layer of skin. This triggers the body’s natural healing process, which leads to an increase in collagen and elastin production. The new collagen and elastin help to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, scars, and other skin imperfections.
PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is a substance that is derived from the patient’s own blood. PRP is rich in growth factors and other nutrients that can promote healing. We use the TruPRP from Magellan to harness the growth factors and stem cells in your blood. When PRP is used in conjunction with microneedling, it can help to further improve the results of the procedure.
Benefits of PRP facials include:
Fast results and no downtime
Tighter, firmer-looking skin
Enhanced skin tone and texture
Reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
Improved skin tone and texture
Reduced appearance of acne or surgical scars
Lighten sun spots and spider veins
Pixel 8-RF Micro-Needling
Microneedling falls under a process called collagen induction therapy, or CIT, which relies on the skin’s natural ability to repair itself after an injury. Unlike typical exfoliation treatments, RF microneedling penetrates past the stratum corneum and brings heat into the sub-dermis, stimulating and remodeling the collagen within. Think of it as a non-surgical facelift!
An RF micro-needling procedure can be used to improve the appearance of:
Enlarged pores
Fine lines and wrinkles
Facial acne scars
Stretch marks
Hyperpigmentation
The PiXel8-RF system facilitates non-surgical skin tightening using bi-polar RF energy and minimally invasive microneedles to drive heat deep within the patient’s skin layers. The heat stimulates and remodels collagen and prompts the elastin cells to regenerate. The treatment requires little to no downtime and results in a skin surface that is firmer, smoother, and more even.
At Rohrer Aesthetics, they developed the PiXel8-RF Radio Microneedling System to combat signs of aging in patients with various skin types. After just one treatment, patients have reported their skin surface to be softer and smoother. Technicians can adjust the energy levels delivered into the tissue from .5mm to 3.5mm to account for variants in patient skin types and desired results. Rohrer Aesthetics designed the PiXel8-RF for tissue coagulation and hemostasis to improve fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and striae.
